About us
Dan’s PVE has been in operation for over six years and has recently upgraded to a fully dedicated server with ample power (RAM/GPU) to accommodate larger maps, more features, player events and occasional custom maps that provide players fun and enjoyment. We cater to players who dislike the typical toxic Rust PVP environment.
Dan’s PVE incorporates “True PVE” which disables the killing of other players and raiding bases.
Wipes
Dan’s PVE wipes on the first Thursday of each month when Facepunch does its monthly update. Blueprints are not wiped unless Facepunch does a forced wipe of blueprints. Contents in backpacks are carried through the wipe.
Rules
Be nice. This is a friendly PVE server and we’d like to keep it that way. No griefing.
Respect each other. While most of our players like to participate in game action, some just want to build and enjoy exploring the scenery. Please respect other players' "space" e.g. don't chop down trees around someone’s base or build right next to a player who is in a remote location unless they’re okay with it.
We recognize that it's human nature to get upset at times and we allow for players to vent frustration so long as it does not include non-tolerated language, harassment of other players, or grow into a pattern of toxic behavior.
No Harassment, Racism, Sexism, Trolling, Disrespect, or Hate Speech.
No inappropriate or offensive images may be posted outside or within public view. Any images deemed inappropriate will be deleted, and any images depicting racism, sexism, hate speech, or illegal activities may result in a warning or ban.
Features
Traders Village One of the primary features of Dan’s PVE is the community town center. A trading post or “town” is incorporated on each new map for a new month (to teleport to town type /town in chat). This center contains a recycler, furnaces, work benches, research table and numerous crates where players can leave unwanted items and take what others have left.
Custom Maps Occasionally Dan’s PVE will purchase and incorporate custom maps for a new month. These maps provide an added player dimension and an all new experience that are a departure from the normal Rust map seeds.
Monuments Dan’s PVE provides a worthy challenge to players at a few of the monuments. The Airfield, Launch Site, and Water Treatment Plant contain patrolling Bradley tanks (two at airfield) as well as additional NPC. The airfield and Launch Site also both have snipers on towers to contend with. The Bradley tanks contain a tank crew that spawn on the destruction and they must be killed to reach the loot.
Zombies & Murderers Occasionally, zombies and murderers will spawn and roam the roadways at night. So if you’re not a fan of zombies, hunker down and stay off the roadways and inside at night!
Backpacks and Blueprints Players are provided with backpacks for additional storage of items. (The size varies depending on your level) Items placed in backpacks and any blueprints obtained will transfer with the player from wipe to wipe. Exception: Facepunch may force blueprint wipe during monthly update.

Special Note: Server features and plugins are reliant upon the developers’ and/or server admin's abilities to update and maintain the application within Facepunch’s ongoing development and evolutionary progression. Admin's may add or remove any feature, plugin or application based on technical performance.
Player Events
Dan’s PVE provides several timed and random events that provide players an opportunity to test their skills and further enhance the overall gaming experience. These events are strictly voluntary and while they can sometimes be done solo, they’re much easier with a group of players.
The start of each event is announced ahead of time in chat so as to allow players time to prepare and gather in a team approach.

VIP Program
Dan’s PVE currently accepts donations to offset the cost of maintaining a dedicated server and purchase of events, custom maps and mods. At the present time, the program is informal, and any donation will get you VIP status.
The VIP program is now under review and development and may be subject to future changes.
